RE: Use of Sand Point/Magnuson Park Facilities for Children's Birthday Parties

Dear Superintendents Bounds:

We have had inquiries from our neighbors about the use of Sand Point/Magnuson Park facilities for parties and events. Neighbors noticed that earlier this month, a parks staff person had a birthday party for his daughter. Could you please tell us the cost of renting facilities at Sand Point/Magnuson Park for children's birthday parties? How far ahead does one have to book the facility? Is there an additional charge for grounds staff to put out and pickup sandwich boards, such as those used at the party earlier this month? Is there an additional charge for parking? Are there rules regarding use of facilities for birthday parties? If so, could you please provide them?

Thanks very much for your assistance in providing this information. We would like to pass along what we learn to our neighbors.
